All About Bath Time
Hi Everyone!
Last night Mommy and Dad gave me a bath! This is what my hair looks like after I get a bath. It sticks straight up! I don’t even have to do anything to it to make it do that! Mommy says she likes my fluffy hair and says that it smells good.
I had to tell everyone that I am getting use to bath time. I know Mommy thinks I don’t like to have a bath, but I am starting to think they are fun! When I had my first bath at home, I cried a lot because I wasn’t sure what was going on and it was cold and I was wet! But I’ve had a few more baths since then and now I think I like them. Last night I didn’t even cry or fuss one bit – and I didn’t even need a pacifier to make me stop crying (you know, because I wasn’t crying in the first place)!
I have a special bath tub that I think is fun. Daddy fills the tub with water and makes it just right – not too hot, not too cold. Daddy likes to hold my hands while Mommy washes me. We start with my eyes and face first, and then Mommy washes my arms, belly and my legs. Daddy holds me up so Mommy can get my back. Then they wash my hair – my Mommy’s favorite part! I use to get really mad when they washed my hair, but I now I kind of like it. It feels good when Mommy rubs my head. We save my bum for last. I haven’t peed on them (yet). After I’m all clean Mommy puts me in a special towel that has a hood so I don’t get cold. Then she rubs my head again so my hair gets dry and that’s when my hair starts to get very fluffy! Mommy puts me in a clean diaper and clothes and then I smell so good! Bath time is fun (although I may keep this a secret sometimes). Mommy keeps telling me that I’ll have a lot of fun when I’m older and we can have toys in the bathtub. That sounds like fun – I can’t wait!
Love,
Walter

Walter, you look so clean and fresh after your bath. Do you have a yellow rubber ducky to play with in the bath? Let me know if you need one – I will send it to you!
You made my night, Walter. This picture of you is so adorable…and you have so o o o much hair. I love how babies smell after baths.
