Baby Einstein

In the many hours that we stay at our little Walter, we wonder if he is bored.  Granted he is only three weeks old, and can’t really focus on anything for too long, but we wonder whether or not he is being stimulated enough already.  This led us to purchase some Baby Einstein DVDs yesterday.  We bought nine used DVDs off Craigslist.  Now, most of the DVDs are for older babies, but we thought it couldn’t hurt to test some of them out on Walter.  We experimented with Baby Mozart this morning.  While Walter seemed to look at the TV for a few minutes off and on, we think he enjoyed the music this most (at this point, it’s probably just easier for him to listen to music than it is to focus on objects).  The DVD kept him occupied for about 15 minutes.  Then he decided he had enough Baby Mozart and got a little fussy.  We’re hoping that he’ll enjoy the collection we bought him as the months go on.  We’ll keep you posted on what he likes (and doesn’t like)!

I had lunch with her mum today. She showed me some pictures of Walter – what a gorgeous baby! Hope you guys are getting some rest! He’s going to be a heartbreaker!
