Quick Update
Walter is now 2 1/2 weeks old, and he is doing great! We had our second doctor’s appointment this past Tuesday and he had gained 8 oz. He is now up to 9 lbs., 8 1/2 oz – his highest weight yet! This week he seems to be in a growth spurt, as he wants to eat about 1-2 hours (even during the middle of the night). We go back to the doctor at the first of November for his one month check-up. I can’t wait to see what he weighs then!
We had our first milestone last night. I went upstairs to change Walter’s diaper. As I pulled off his diaper to clean him up, I found that his umbilical cord had fallen off! We now officially have a belly button! The remnants of the umbilical cord were in his little onesie (kind of gross) but now he has a cute little belly button. We’ve said that Walter has gone wireless now
