Baby Shower
This past Saturday, my wonderful new sister-in-law and my brother hosted our first baby shower at my parent’s house in Winston-Salem. I grew up in Winston, and it was nice to have an occasion to gather friends and family together. In attendance were long time friends of the family and family members. The hubs and I had a great time, and were overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends and family. My brother and sister-in-law did a great job decorating and preparing the food, and my mom and dad graciously offered their home for the party which was a great setting.
Among the wonderful gifts we received were a Diaper Genie (had to explain that one to my dad), a Boppy (had to explain that one to my dad too), a BOB diaper bag, receiving blankets, cute clothes and other necessities for baby. The clothes are super cute, and I can’t wait to see them on our little one. And really, isn’t ANYTHING baby the cutest thing ever?
